James Medley

James Medley joined the Marine Corps Reserves as a freshman at the University of Kentucky.  Medley chose Military Police as his occupation and was stationed with the Military Police Company Alpha in Lexington, Kentucky.  He deployed to Iraq and again to Afghanistan in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.  In this interview Medley talks about boot camp and some of the problems he faced going through training.  He describes his first tour to Iraq and what it was like being in country.  He also talks about his second deployment to Afghanistan and how it was different from his first deployment.  He then describes his transition to school as a veteran and how the school is different since he enrolled.
